We’re delighted to be listed amongst some of the biggest names in the European festival circuit in Flight Networks . Named one of the Top 20 Art and Culture Festivals 2018 is definitely a reason to celebrate. Last year, we were included in FlightNetworks 36 best global festivals.
“Do you love the ocean? All things nautical? Do you own boat shoes and dream about your next time on a sailboat? Look no further than the Cork Harbour Festival, a week long celebration of Ireland’s rich maritime heritage. Set in the second largest natural harbour in the world, the festival is a 9 day celebration of the ocean and our interactions with this diverse ecosystem. From directly getting wet by swimming, surfing, paddling or kayaking to more dry experiences such as guided harbour walks and sailing, this festival encourages engagement with the marine environment. Kicking off on the June Bank Holiday, from 2nd – 10th June 2018, with Ireland’s premier rowing race Ocean to City – An Rás Mór, the festival is a quirky expression of Ireland’s deep appreciation of its nautical roots.”
The Cork Harbour Festival has grown into one of the largest celebrations of maritime culture in Ireland. We want to acknowledge the huge contributions and engagement from all the Harbour communities. You have made this festival what it is today and we look forward to bigger and better in the coming years.
