Cork Harbour Festival is organised by Meitheal Mara, Cork’s community boatyard, and training centre. You will receive guidance and training throughout your time with us and will be part of a community organisation.
This is a great opportunity to work in a friendly team and develop office skills. There is also plenty of opportunity for participants to gain experience in a particular area of their interest, for example, marketing, website updating, event production, social media, PR, excel, sales, etc.
Good organisation skills, communication skills, and computer skills would be desirable.

Eligibility to participate on Community Employment (CE) is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more; or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.
