
Cork, May 6th – Against the historic backdrop of Camden Fort Meagher, the 2025 Cork Harbour Festival was officially launched with a lively press event attended by local dignitaries, event partners, media, and festival supporters.
Running from May 24th to June 2nd, this year’s festival marks two major milestones: the 10-year anniversary of the Cork Harbour Festival and the 20-year celebration of the iconic Ocean to City – An Rás Mór race. With over 100 events spanning Cork City and County, the festival promises something for everyone — from maritime heritage celebrations to family-friendly activities on and off the water.
Speakers at the event included Cllr Audrey Buckley, Deputy Mayor of Cork County, Cllr Dan Boyle and Donagh MacArtain, Director of Meitheal Mara, who emphasized the unique spirit of Ireland’s maritime culture and the collaborative effort behind the festival’s success. Watch the recap here:
