Next year’s Cork Harbour Festival starts 2 weeks earlier than usual, from the 15th of May 2020, and we would love you to be part of it.
You’ve probably already heard that European Maritime Day 2020 (EMD) will be hosted here in our very own Cork city. This is a huge opportunity, with over a thousand delegates from the European maritime community expected to attend. To celebrate the occasion, SeaFest and Cork Harbour Festival will be following directly on from EMD 2020, bringing together three big maritime events on a European, national and regional level.
Cork Harbour Festival will again collaborate with the SeaFest organisers on programming and marketing, and look forward to including «OrganisationName» as part of our 50+ event partners. As in 2019, the SeaFest celebrations take place over one big weekend at the Port of Cork. We in Cork Harbour Festival will extend the celebrations to the entire maritime community of Cork city and harbour across full 12-days, with the flagship Ocean to City event closing festivities on the 6th of June. Hooray!
Do you want to be part of Cork Harbour Festival 2020?
We’re on the lookout for all things maritime / harbour themed to add to the festival programme and invite Cork city and harbour communities to come on board; water activities, open days, seafood events, shows, tours, walks, talks… you name it!
We’ve had a fantastic selection of events over the past five years and encourage everyone to help us keep the festival programme fresh and surprising by organising a new/different event for 2020.
For example: tourist attractions organising a special event for festival week; water-sports providers teaming up with local cafés; open days with talks or music; or walking tours with seafood tasters.
We need you, our event partners, to help us develop Cork Harbour Festival to a new level!
Save the dates!
