With Ó Bhéal.

Cork’s weekly poetry event features poetry-films, writing challenges, guest poets and an open-mic session. Ó Bhéal’s guest for the 2018 Cork Harbour Festival is Daniel Wade, a poet and playwright from Dublin. His poetry explores themes of voyaging, homecoming, the role played by the ocean in Ireland’s historical and contemporary struggles, legacies of exploration, boat-building, shipwrecks and rescue. Many of Daniel’s poems are featured on Coast Monkey, Ireland’s maritime and coastal heritage website. Hennessy New Irish Writing winner (July 2015).

Preceded by poetry-films from 20:30.
