Presented by Rachel Murphy, who is a research fellow working on ‘Deep Maps’, a multi-disciplinary study of West Cork coastal cultures and maritime environment from Clonakilty to Bantry Bay.  She recently submitted her PhD dissertation for examination, which studies place, community, and landholding on the Courtown Estate, on the Wexford coast. Chaired by Dr. John Borgonovo.

Lunchtime Lectures were a hugely popular event last year so come early and enjoy a coffee at the café and visit the exhibition, A City by the Sea, showing in St. Peter’s Church.
