Presented by Damian Shiels who is a historian and one of Ireland’s leading battlefield archaeologists. He has surveyed harbour defences across County Cork, and is currently leading the project: ‘Landscapes of Revolution: The Archaeology of Ireland’s War of Independence’. Chaired by Dr. John Borgonovo.

Lunchtime Lectures were a hugely popular event last year so come early and enjoy a coffee at the café and visit the exhibition, A City by the Sea, showing in St. Peter’s Church.
